In Texas, at least in our school district, the kids get to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. by having a long weekend!! This means they are out of school Friday and Monday!!! Two extra play all day days!!!! The only down side is that its been FREAKIN' cold down here!!!!!! We haven't really been able to play outside!
The other big bummer is that Isaac and Toby are in a battle with their bellies....both were up in the night throwing up dinner...Toby first then Isaac...It was not fun...Rick took care of Isaac and I didn't even know he had been sick until this morning!!! THANK YOU RICK!
Today we are to take some kid from the youth group to a ladies house to rake her leaves...we are hoping for a decent turnout since we have to rake an acre of leaves....but we'll see...its COLD!!!!
Rick is LOVIN' being in the schools and the classroom. The kids already know him as the "Cool" sub!!! Keighely is freaked out that when we say "Daddy's is teaching today" that means that he's going back to Africa and we won't see him for a few weeks!!! She's getting better...
Noah is a reading machine...he CAN read just about everything IF he'll take the time to simply sound it all out. He's doing great and we are so proud...its a fun process to watch! Keighley is very much enjoying preschool...she loves all the projects they do. Isaac could care less about going on the potty despite his claims to be a big boy and his desire to wear underware! Toby is moments from walking but just hasn't gained the confidence that his standing can be so much more!
I am doing ok too...tired most of the time...but for right now that is life! I am thankful for the days I get a shower!!! I am off to rake!!
